Privacy policy

Who runs this

This site is part of Channel Hub, a single-user personal tool. One person runs it on their own computer to manage their own social media accounts. It has no other users, no sign-up and no accounts.

What is public here

Only the image and video files the owner attaches to their own scheduled posts. Each file has a long random name and is public only so that the owner's own Buffer account can fetch it when the post is published. There is no index or listing of files.

How long files stay

Files are deleted about 7 days after the post they belong to is published or marked done.

No tracking

No cookies, analytics, advertising or third-party scripts. This media server keeps no access logs. Connections are relayed by Tailscale Funnel, whose own privacy policy covers that relay.

Data from connected platforms

The owner's tools read statistics about the owner's own accounts (for example YouTube channel and video statistics) through the platforms' official APIs. That data is stored only on the owner's computer, is used only to show the owner their own analytics, and is never sold, shared or used for advertising. Use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
